During the last couple of days I thought about some ways how I could realize some basic tagging support for WordPress and I think I will go with following solution: Ajax in the admin panel ;-)

Tags or Categories
Since quite some time I have a small problem: I always fight with myself about in what category/categories I should put every single post I make here. Now that I'm using Flickr for more than a week now and also have been using del.icio.us for quite some time I've become more and more used to tag photos/links/whatever instead of putting them into categories. I've already integrated (and stopped using :-? ) technorati tags a few months ago ... But hey, why did I stop using them? Quite simple: They had no real use to me since I already have categories and I'm far too lazy to enter everything twice ;-)

Rechargeable batteries pricing...
Yesterday I wanted to get some rechargeable batteries for my iAudio G3 ... I'm still happy that I got out of the shop without running around screaming g The pricing is IMO ridiculous. The rechargeables are not really the problem here, but the charger. The cheapest Duracell charger costs nearly 40EUR. They batteries themselves only 18EUR (4 rechargeables). If the charger would be available for let's say 20EUR I would have bought it right away, but not for 40EUR ...

Flickr Pro et al. ;-)
After coming back from a little trip with my new bike I finally got a Flickr Pro account :D Why? I needed more photo sets ;-) I plan to make of everything a set that belongs together, like photos about a trip, a party etc. ... not that I'm on oh so many parties, but I think you got the point ;-) I also changed my uploads habits now that I have a pro account: Gone are the days of 1024x768 photos g Say hello to 1280x1024 photos ;-) I could upload the original photos but I see only very little point in (1) stessing the flickr servers more than necessary and (2) they don't really look all that great in 2048x1536.
