Without the work of the whole Django community who provided pre-built applications for example for tagging this whole site would have taken much longer to make than it actually did. So now it's my turn to give something back. Since I'm still quite new to Django I want to start with something small: The Lifestream component of this page :-)

There's been quite some time since I last posted about 23hq.com, the Danish alternative to Flickr. And since my previous article is now partially outdated (and Steffen Tiedemann Christensen from 23hq contacted me to inform me about the new features) I think it's time to roll out a small addendum to that article :)

Pokémon fever again
I guess the next couple of weeks are going to be quite focused on one and only that one thing. At least when today is some kind of foretaste for it. I bought Pokémon Diamond today and since 2pm playing this was more or less all that I've been doing.

Ok, I'm giving up on converting repos
Yesterday night I once again tried to move one of my repositories over from hg to bzr. This time I took a different and more indirect approach: I first converted the whole repository into a git repository and then hoped that tailor would be able to convert this into something else (svn or bzr).

Yahoo! Pipes vs. timezones
If you have taken a closer look at my lifestream, you might have noticed that the order of the items seems not to be completely correct. I'm currently trying to trace this problem down, but it looks like the culprit might be Yahoo! pipes and not the date-conversion I'm doing on my end.

Welcome to zerokspot v5
Welcome to zerokspot v5, the next iteration of my personal homepage and after more than 3 years finally and once again a mostly custom engine. The site originally was mostly a hack combining phpBB2 with some custom code, then it was a WordPress blog, then a Drupal site and so on. So please say "Hello" to my first slightly bigger site written entirely in Python using Django.
