SCons is for me one of the most convenient build systems out there but at least if you take a look at the manual and esp. in the section about writing your own builders, it looks like a little bit of a pain to extend. Or actually there doesn't seem to be a short way to extend build environments at all.

Screw Attack <3
Sorry, another post about games. If you're looking for yet another video
games show and don't know Screw Attack
yet ... well, now you know it. Have fun :-)
The folks over there have been really busy
since their February 2007-launch. I didn't really care to count, but if you head over to their site, you will get tons of content. Sweet! Not to mention one of the must hilarious Top10-shows out there and also with the "Video Game Vault" a great retro show :-)OK, forgot what I wrote about Feb2007. I just took a look at ScrewAttack.com and the content there seems to go back way further. Feb2007 looks just like the starting month of some kind of cooperation with GameTrailers for 3 of their shows. Sweet. More content ;-)
Thanks, guys :D

@Sony Customer Support: Reading mails is hard ...
Remember when I wrote a couple of days ago about the PSP Store being Windows-only? I was actually mad enough to contact Sony's customer support on this issue asking if there were any plans to offer a MacOSX-client.

WipEout-o-holic
Did you ever have a game that you stowed away years ago and suddenly start to to play again? Even more enthusiastically than the first time around? This fate seems to have had WipEout Pure for the PSP with me.

No PSP Store for Mac users
... or anyone who doesn't use Windows for that matter. Currently the whole download software is only available for Windows and Sony completely fails to tell you that before you start probably the most lengthy and complicated registration process I've seen in my whole life.
I'm just wondering why. Under yourpsp.com/at/de/whatever you already could download demos and there also was a shopping system in place. So why move everything over to a completely different infrastructure that even looks some of your customers out?! Summary: The current state of the PSP Store looks like a stupid idea.

Trial Software done right
I've been using OmniGraffle for some time now. It's simply one of the most easy to use diagramming tools I've seen so far. So now I also got my new laptop which doesn't come with that tool bundled unlike the old Powerbooks (and probably also the new MacBook Pros) and since I already considered upgrading for the last couple of months and because I also need a powerful diagramming tool for my master thesis, I downloaded the trial version ...

Favorite Leopard Features so far
I've only been using Leopard for a couple of days now (since I wasn't all that motivated to get it before my MacBook arrived) but I've already found some new stuff that I actually really enjoy...

Lightroom 1.3
Wow, what a timing :-) I just was about to install Lightroom again and therefor wanted to download the latest update. So I downloaded it, started it and was quite surprised to see the version number: 1.3 :D

zerokspot v5.1
You might have noticed a small change here. For the last couple of months I've been working a little bit on an updated style for this site, that should somehow look more minimalistic than the previous one and therefor included much much more white ;-)

Multiple Tracs with the Same User Database
For my master thesis I'm working with a couple of other people on quite a big project which consists of multiple sub-projects. To get some order into the whole process and documentation we are about to use Trac, the free project management tool by the folks at edgewall. It simply let's you handle one project per instance with its own SVN repository and user base. But what if you want to have multiple instances with the same users but just different permissions per instance?
