Enterprise: Daedalus

This book was the first Enterprise book for me and also the first by Dave Stern and .... well, I think I should simply stop to pretend as if I could write decent book reviews and simply say: I was really enjoying this book. I was actually enjoying that much that I ordered the 2nd part when I was only half way through this one.

The story is always thrilling and IIRC never gets illogical. The more or less exclusive star of this book is Trip while Hoshi is somehow lost in the plot which is in my opinion a little bit disappointing, but only a little since this is basically a book about Trip and how he deals with his past.

So to some this up: From what I can remember this book was great and I can really recommend it if you like Enterprise. I don't think it requires as much background knowledge about the StarTrek universe since Enterprise plays before everything else, but it's definitely useful to know Enterprise a little bit :)
