Alle Jahr wieder hat auch dieser Februar ein Barcamp in Klagenfurt gesehen. Es war wieder an der Universität Klagenfurt, es kamen wieder jede Menge Leute aus unterschiedlichsten Beweggründen und Branchen ... und war wieder großartig :D (Disclaimer: Ich war ein kleiner Teil des Orgateams, also muss ich es als großartig bezeichnen, selbst wenn es das absolut war ;-))

Das war das Barcamp Klagenfurt 2009
Dieses Wochenende fand an der Uni Klagenfurt wieder einmal ein Barcamp statt. Barcamps sind immer etwas Schönes. Tja, jetzt ist Sonntag-Abend, folglich ist es jetzt leider schon wieder vorbei. Da ich in letzter Zeit wieder deutlich mehr Lust am Bloggen gefunden habe, kommt jetzt natürlich auch eine kleine Retrospektive -- weitestgehend aus Orga-Sicht ;-)

Barcamp Klagenfurt 2009: Kleiner Zwischenbericht
Ein Problem auf Unkonferenzen meiner Meinung nach ist immer, dass Vortragende oft Schwierigkeiten haben, ihre Präsentation -- von der Dauer her -- in einem Slot unterzubringen. Hier verteilen die Organisationen manchmal gelbe und rote Karten, um den Vortragenden einfach anzudeuten, wie lange sie noch Zeit haben bis der Slot zu Ende ist. Das hat sich bis jetzt eigentlich ziemlich bewährt, war aber doch immer lästig. Man will als Organisator halt nicht wirklich jemanden unterbrechen, aber es ist manchmal leider notwendig. In so fern bin ich echt froh, dass wir das bis jetzt am Barcamp Klagenfurt 2009 nicht wirklich gebraucht haben. Ein großes Dankeschön an alle Vortragenden :-)
Auch die ganze restliche Organisation hat bislang eigentlich reibungslos funktioniert. Essen war super, Getränke sind -- soweit ich das bis jetzt gesehen habe -- noch reichlich vorhanden. Einzig die Steckdosen sind nach wie vor noch nicht optimal verteilt. Wenn jemand von euch noch Verteiler braucht, bitte wendet euch an einen der Organisatoren. Wir haben insgesamt 15 Stecker von der Universität geliehen bekommen.

Barcamp Kärnten
So, morgen und übermorgen findet in Kärnten nun zum ersten Mal ein Barcamp statt. Und heute Abend gibts die Akkreditierung um 19:00 Uhr beim Uniwirt mit Welcome Party.
Das heißt für mich mal folgendes:
- Heute? Grillteller ;-)
- Morgen? Früh aufstehen und dann den ganzen Tag über dort sein :-)

Barcamp Vienna 2007 - Day 1
So ... first day at the Barcamp in Vienna and 2nd day in Vienna itself. I was just lucky to get to the MS building in time from the hotel (the metro was quite deserted) :D Nice building and absolutely stunning location in general. The rooms are just great.
