52 podcasts in the backlog ... I really should find some time to listen to more of them again. Anyway, I just finished listening to episode 0.1.7 of the Changelog Show and was "Open Blogging/Publishing".
The term "Open Blogging" as used among others by Brandon Mathis means a blogging system based on a publicly available repository (e.g. on Github or BitBucket) which contributors fork and write articles as patches. If a DVCS is used, the single point of failure - the current server - mostly disappears since everyone can easily create a mirror.

Just a small note: I've just disable trackback for now (and probably for some time) because I'm simply not motivated to moderate the about 200 spam posts I get every single day. As a replacement I will add hopefully sometime this week a small section where all the links pointing to a post or the whole site will be listed (based on search results on Technorati and probably also google and yahoo).
