Sorry, another post about games. If you're looking for yet another video games show and don't know Screw Attack yet ... well, now you know it. Have fun :-)

The folks over there have been really busy since their February 2007-launch. I didn't really care to count, but if you head over to their site, you will get tons of content. Sweet! Not to mention one of the must hilarious Top10-shows out there and also with the "Video Game Vault" a great retro show :-)

OK, forgot what I wrote about Feb2007. I just took a look at ScrewAttack.com and the content there seems to go back way further. Feb2007 looks just like the starting month of some kind of cooperation with GameTrailers for 3 of their shows. Sweet. More content ;-)

    Thanks, guys :D

  • Last.fm to become MTV 2.0?

    Posted on May 10, 2007 at 13:35 +0200 Tagged with , ,

Remember the days when MTV was actually good? I mean when they showed music videos? Yeah, it's been a looooong time. Now Last.fm is on the verge of offering all those people who miss these good old days an extension to their current music recommendation service:

Last.fm will soon be able to offer its users personalised channels from the largest legal catalogue of music videos on the web. The quality of videos on Last.fm will be significantly higher than that of YouTube, with audio encoded at 128kbps compared to YouTube's 64kbps.

Last.fm aims eventually to have every music video ever made on the site, from the latest hits to underground obscurities to classics from the past.

    Press release

Very nice :-) Now I just hope that their service will be a little bit more performant (on the Flash side) than YouTube.

  • Technorati's getting back to you ...

    Posted on Oct. 6, 2006 at 23:59 +0200 Tagged with , ,

Something new from the Technorati front. This time there is a new newsletter called the "Technorati Buzz Monitor" which appears like a lightweight version of the Rojo newsletter on the news side but it also offers some hints on how to use Technorati. Nice. A little minimal on the news side, but nice :-)

The other new "feature" of Technorati is a (week-) daily video show presenting some of the hot topics of the day in a humorous way. Nothing new, but nice :-)

So to some things up: Nice

Just one small request about the video show: Could you please provide an RSS with the show as QuickTime or something like that?
