For quite some time I wanted to write something with a document-based database system again. My last trip into this area was in Feb. 2009 when I needed a small feed-aggregator for a local Barcamp and wanted to provide a live-ticker for all the tweets and photos related to that event. Back then I went with CouchDB with its slick web interface and HTTP API, but it is by far not the only attractive system on the block.

If you're looking for some help, please simply go to the official support forums on phpbb.com or join the IRC channel on irc.freenode.net.
Why don't I give personal support? Simply because I don't see the point in it. It is very likely that someone on the boards will be faster in answering your question than I can even check my emails. And don't forget the whole social thing about support: Other users might have the same problem as you do, find the answer on the boards because someone answered your question, and they're done. Do the same thing with a private e-mail conversation ;-)

New banner component
In the last couple of days I felt like playing around a little bit with the layout of zerokspot.com but somehow nothing really looked right. Today, I looked at the layout and .... well, somehow I still like it much better than whatever layout thingy I did (I don't dare to call it "created" :P ) in the last days.

Gallery with new simplified design
Well, nothing really new but I gave it an hour and now the gallery has a simplified design and also some bugs should be fixed now. I've also made this blog the new startpage of zerokspot.com simply because this is the part of the page where I do most things ;-)

Welcome to zerokspot.com v2.4.90
Yesterday evening I had some free hours so I decided to play around with the style of zs.com again. First of all I wanted to get rid of the zs-navigation in the right sidebar and to make a common header and footer for all the sites on zs.com. I've now also added rounded corners to site. I hope you like it :-)

I've now also installed the TechnoTags plugin for WordPress here, to be precise the version by William Spaetzel and added some small modifications myself. IMO the whole concept of this whole tagging is really nice and simple as long as no one abuses the whole category system :-(

Some problems here
I've just found some problems with my .htaccess file which caused the you couldn't access 2nd, 3rd etc. pages. Then I noticed that somehow my .htaccess isn't automatically updated by WordPress anymore when changing something on the permalink structure so I've just imported my .htaccess file from my home server so that everything should work for now again.

First of all: Welcome to the new old zeroKspot.com :D
What's new about it? This site is now running Drupal for reasons I will perhaps write a little bit more about in the next couple of days when I've also moved the posts from my booksblog over and re-established full feedburner support.
For the time being, there should be absolutely no changes requires on your site of the web. All the old links are (and will stay) valid, same goes for the feed links, images and other uploads.
Because of the not yet complete transition of all my content into Drupal I also want to apologize for "bumped" feed items.

Wordpress, Markdown and RSS
Ok, the RSS, RSS2 and Atom feeds should now work again. Previously (to be precise right after I enabled then markdown plugin) they simply included unformated content which looked ugly at best and was lacking some semantic at worst ;-)
Thanks to this topic in the WordPress support forum I could fix this small problem and I will apply these fixes on gamerslog.com tomorrow (after getting some sleep).
To the posters involved in solving this problem: Thank you very much :-) You saved me from reading the RSS specification :-)

RSS down
There seems to be a bug in WordPress that more or less always lets the RSS feeds consist of only the 304 headers. Having not really enough time at my hands to fix this bug myself, I will have to wait until someone in the WP community finds a solution for it. It shouldn't take that long :-) Sorry for that :-)
